The songg "Hold My Hand" by Hootie and the Blowfish uses anaphora and anadipolis repetition in the song. Anaphora is using the same phrase at the beginning of a few lines. Anadipolis is using the same phrase at the end of the line and beginning on with the same phrase. When saying hold my hand is anaphora and also stating that he will love her the best that he can is anadipolis. He says hold my hand so many times because the listeners understand that he just wants his loved one with him and he will guide her. When he uses the phrase "I wanna love you the best that, the besta that i can. Oh, the best that i can" he repeats the word best because this lets the listeners know that he will love her the best he can, and will not love her any less.

"Far Away" by Nickelback uses anaphora repetition in the song to prove a point. Anaphora is repeating the same phrase at the beginning of a few lines. They use the phrase "far away" many times in the song because they are saying that him and his loved one have been far away from each other for far too long. The phrase is very demanding and saying that they have been apart for too long and he wants them back together. Using this phrase so many times lets the listener understand how he feels and his main emotion.

"You're a god" is about a guy who absolutely adores his girlfriend. He realizes though that she could have better if she left him, so throughout the song he tries to convince her of that, henceyou're a god and i am not i thought id let you know. He loves her enough to let her go and find true happiness; even though it will kill him inside, he's willing to do it for her because of how much he sincerely loves her. He uses the metaphor "You're a god" comparing her to a god and he says that he is average and nothing special.
